oneCrate Cartel are dropping a new release on June 18th via the Obese Distribution line, this time in the form of a Geko production album titled Crate Cartel Radio. Laced with arguably the countries best selection of MC’s and beats from Geko, Crate Cartel Radio is going to be another fine mark on 2010 from Melbourne.
Comments OffI’ve got two copies of NJE’s new album From The Outside Looking In to giveaway. You’re looking at 18 tracks of hip hop featuring Unda Dwella, Jennifer De La Cruz, Mind Over Matter, Untaymable, Danny Boy, Phatchance, Torcha & Isabel Cuevas. I’ve been bumping the album on and off and so far so good, but i’m still not completely convinced of the greatness some chaos warriors are slapping it with, however i have only listened twice so far.
Comments OffSpit Syndicate prepare to drop their sophomore album Exile on May 14th through Obese Records. You can preview tracks from Exile on their MySpace and via their Facebook fan page. Update: ![]()
Ozi Batla gets ready to drop his debut solo album Wild Colonial on May 14th. Update: now available on iTunes.

2 comBrisbane’s The Optimen are dropping another Australia Hip Hop outfit dropping a new album, according to Red Tape Entertainment:
production is NUTS! Raps is CRAZY! Full of more ill joints than Michael J Fox, marfucker!
While they may not have been my exact choice of words, i’m sure this is going to be another fine mark on the Australian Hip Hop release timeline just like Boomtown. The Optimen’s album The Out Of Money Experience is due for release sometime in April 10th on Red Tape Entertainment; it was set to be distributed through Shogun Distribution, but now will be handled by Inertia.
You can catch a sample of the album by checking out the free single Firefighters and also checkout their MySpace for some newer tracks, including one featuring Lazy Grey and now you can pre-order the Out of Money Experience at JB-Hifi.
