If you asked me over the last year who my favourite MC in the country was, it’s likely i responded “Social Change“, you’d say “Who?” and i’d proceed to walk you through YouTube (here), some music and recently some freestyles on Top Billin’ (check it out here on Sound Cloud at 13 minutes in). Social Change hails from Adelaide and is made up of MC Social Change, Producer Funkwig and DJ Snair, all coming together to produce some of the phattest hip-hop in the country.
Social Change-V.High.EP
If you’ve never had the pleasure of hearing Social Change or you’ve been quietly sleeping, nows the time to get on the train. They’re giving away their last release the V.High.EP free along with the single REAL on Bandcamp, so you can snap it up for the price of your e-mail address (which they promise they will do know harm with).
